How do I get a Charter Guide Ship License?
Persons who fish from a charter vessel in saltwater areas of the state, with a licensed guide on board at all times, may possess a Charter Guide Ship License at a cost of $20.00 (Plus $5.00 convenience fee) that is valid for three (3) consecutive days.
You will need the following information to apply:

Recreational fishing and hunting licenses may be purchased online at
http://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/licenses/fishing or by telephone using Visa or MasterCard. An authorization number for immediate use will be provided and licenses will be mailed to the licensee.
